These terms govern askboswell.com and participation in the Boswell invitation-only private beta (the "Service"). Boswell is operated by Steve Krontz ("we," "us") in Atlanta, Georgia. By using an invite code, an invited tenant, or the public onboarding conversation, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Boswell v3 is a tenant-scoped, versioned memory and continuity service accessed through supported MCP clients, APIs, and limited web interfaces. It can store and retrieve branches, commits, bookmarks, tasks, and related context. Boswell 6 and other described prototypes are not launched services.
Access is discretionary and may be limited, changed, or revoked during the beta. Keep invite codes, tokens, and credentials confidential; use only the tenant and permissions assigned to you; and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your credentials or authorized model clients.
There is no public paid plan, public price list, or self-service checkout for the current beta. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, beta access is provided for evaluation, may change without notice, and carries no uptime, support-response, capacity, retention, or service-level commitment.
You retain whatever rights you hold in content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content to operate and secure the Service. You represent that you are authorized to submit the content and to permit this processing.
Do not upload or commit confidential, regulated, personal, copyrighted, or third-party material unless you have the authority and safeguards needed to do so. The public onboarding conversation is for a lightweight introduction, not archive files or sensitive records.
Models, semantic search, summaries, attribution, and memory retrieval can be incomplete, stale, or wrong. Boswell is an assistive record and retrieval system, not a substitute for checking primary sources or exercising professional judgment. Verify important output before acting on it, especially in medical, legal, financial, employment, safety, or other high-impact settings.
You may not:
We may modify, suspend, reset, or discontinue beta functionality and may remove access for security, legal, operational, or policy reasons. You may stop using the Service and request deletion. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Notice and may be subject to backups, logs, dispute preservation, and legal obligations.
If you provide product feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, but this does not transfer ownership of your content, inventions, trademarks, or confidential information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" for private-beta evaluation. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that stored data, generated output, recall, attribution, or availability will be complete, accurate, secure, or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted.
We may update these terms as the beta changes. The date above identifies the current version. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the site, Service, or email where appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Fulton County, Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
